In the United States Amtrak operates over 34 major and minor trains.

Note from the webmaster: On my previous travels before the gurantee do not match up to the service, quality, knowledge, dependibility of the train and the train`s staff. This past (2000) summer I took a trip around the US on Amtrak. I rode on the Capitol Limited → Empire Builder → Coast Starlight → Texas Eagle → Capitol Limited to Washington DC → Metroliner to Baltimore, Md. Then the opposite comming back.
